IHRF is deeply committed to environmental protection and climate change abatement. To this end, it promotes tree culture and leads mass tree plantation programs as well as encourages people to lead lifestyles in alignment with a sustainable environment.

Covid Relief Work
During the first and second wave of Corona Virus in India from 2020 to 2021, the India Heritage Research Foundation, in partnership with like-minded organisations, provided widespread and deeply impactful service, bringing hope and healing to many.

Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash Projects
IHRF has constructed three ashrams in the sacred, barren, untouched land of Lake Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash in Tibet, where previously there were no indoor facilities of any kind at all.

Interfaith Harmony
IHRF organizes a variety of conferences, gatherings and youth summer camps to heighten world-wide cultural awareness and inter-ethnic sensitivity.

Encyclopedia of Hinduism
The Encyclopedia has been nearly twenty-five years in the making and it is the first time in history that the depth and breadth of India’s great spiritual culture is made available in authentic, academic and scholastic form. It is truly a compendium of thousands of years of history, science, art, architecture, polity, religion, philosophy and culture.

Disaster Relief
IHRF is extensively and actively involved in both immediate, emergency relief as well as in long-term permanent reconstruction of the Uttarakhand floods of June 2013, as well as the South India tsunami of 2004.
